Ecological Marketing: Business for Sustainable Development
What comes to your mind when you hear the word environment? And what comes to your mind when you hear business?
Two different words and two different meaning but will this two work hand on hand to make our life much easier and much comfortable? Business often conflict with our environment but environment was never a conflict to any business.
Last July 23 2010 marketing students of Colegio de San Juan de Letran “Group 1” held a seminar about ecological marketing: business for sustainable development which aims to inform the students how important our environment and businesses is to our everyday life. The group invited Mr. Nicco Tan to be our guest speaker.
It was indeed a fun filled learning experience for us to be part of this event. It turns out to be a very active discussion because our dearest Mr. Nicco tan tries to make all the audience participates as well as his very welcoming and friendly approach with all the questions about his topic. His bubbly attitude and friendly aura surrounds the place which makes it easy to listen and absorb all the learning’s his sharing us.
It was certainly a very busy day and we are all anxious of what would be the result of our work. But thanks God because the seminar flow smoothly from the floor managers who are responsible controlling the crowd, to the registration, to the physical set up who made the venue a place where audience can relax and enjoy learning, to the master of ceremony committee, and lastly to the documentation committee who capture all the moments during and after the seminar.
Absolutely, these will all not be possible without the patience supervision of our very loving Seminar Workshop adviser Ms. Evangeline Laurel and our crying but very much responsible leader Ms. Roxanne Armada who is so dedicated to finish this event with success. And of course not to mention the undeniable effective teamwork that totally works!
